Yes we sure do! We ideally like to capture the majority of the posed shots at the start of the event before guests start to arrive.

We absolutely love capturing candids throughout the whole event. We ‘tend to use telephoto zoom lenses to capture the candids from afar.

Absolutely! Let us know your theme, we can create an edit to accentuate the event’s theme and colour palette, as well as create a personalised watermark or frame to compliment your photographs and event theme!

How can I ensure that the photographer will be respectful of my guests' privacy and comfort levels when taking photos?

It is our duty to capture and respect every guest, to treat them all equally and to actively make them feel welcomed and excited to be at your event.

Our Photographers are acute to body language and subtle facial cues that when recognised, can help avoid any uncomfortable scenarios.

If we fail to recognise such situations we deescalate tension by smiling, assuring the guest we respect them, apologise for any unwanted behaviour and set expectations for them so they can better relax.

How far in advance should I book a photographer for my party?

At least 1 month prior. Any less and you will need to be proactive with your communications with us :D

Can I review and approve the photos before they are finalised or delivered to me?

You receive the photographs ‘finalised’ after we edit them to your liking. If we didn’t do a good enough job with the editing, we re-edit them (up to two iterations) until we get your edit perfect, just like the way you really wanted :)

Can I get a refund or redo if I am not satisfied with the photos or the services provided?

We will re-edit your photos until you are absolutely happy with the way the edit looks! If you are not happy with our overall service, we will offer different/multiple services until you are fully satisfied. This may include a partial refund, additional bonuses, a free Portrait shoot, etc.

How can I ensure that the photos will be of high quality and resolution, and suitable for printing?

All of our photographs are ready to print!! Full high-resolution photos at your disposal. If whatever reason your image is not print-worthy, pass us the image(s) so we can UPSCALE them so they are ready to be printed in full high-resolution glory!

How can I ensure that the photographer will capture the specific moments and emotions that are important to me?

You can be ensured we will capture your requests once they have been outlined at the start of the booking process journey. Additional requests can be added at any time before, and during the event!

What is your policy on rescheduling or canceling a booking, and what fees might apply?

No fees are applied when a reschedule occurs. 
When an event is cancelled due to a government lockdown you will receive a full refund.

If you cancel your event 2 months prior to the date, we should be able to give you a refund of your deposit!
If it is canceled within 1 month of the event, we can’t refund the deposit as we need to pay for the opportunity cost for our photographer and administrator.

Will you be the photographer on the day of the event, or will someone else be assigned to the job?

At the start of your booking process journey, we fetch and provide availability on your best fit photographer.

Best fit factors include experience, type of event, location, and more.
You can either reject or approve your potential photographer after viewing their portfolio work.

How many photos can I expect to receive from the event, and how will they be delivered to me?

On average around 100 photos per hour of coverage.

If you’d like to view some existing albums for a particular type of event, let us know so we can send you some to view!
The more requests you have, the more you will get out of our service by default.

Expect them to be delivered to your email, you will receive a link to your own Personal Website Gallery!

How long have you been in business, and how many events have you photographed in the past?

We’ve been capturing since 2010 to be exact.
Business was formalised in 2014, we’ve captured over 2000 events. (As of the 27th March 2023)

What is your process for handling requests for retouching or editing of photos after the event?

We don’t provide retouching services just yet (retouching/photoshopping).

We do however provide re-editing of your photos if you are not happy within the way the edit looks! We will re-edit them until you are happy :) (Up to two iterations)

How can I ensure that the photographer will respect my cultural or religious customs during the event?

Discuss these customs with them in advance and provide any necessary guidance or restrictions. We will assign a photographer who has experience working with diverse clients and is open to learning about and respecting different customs and traditions. Remember, communication is key!

Can I see a detailed breakdown of the costs?

Can you provide a contract or agreement that outlines the services and terms of the booking?

We sure do provide a contract that outlines the services, we provide this at the start of the booking journey.

What is your policy on sharing the photos on social media or using them for promotional purposes?

The contract that you sign at the start of the booking journey provides us the permission to use them for promotional purposes. However, if you’d like us to NOT use the images, just let us know! :)

We aim to use the best of the best images to showcase our services.

Can I get a breakdown of the timeline for the event and how the photographer will fit into it?

7:00pm - 7:30pm - Capture your solo, couple and group portraits with your immediate family and partner before guests start arriving. Capturing these photos while they arrive means you will continuously be bombarded with greetings… so best to do them without distractions before hand. Get at least 2 spaces/areas for portraits of yourself, inside and outside for example. 

7:30pm - 8:30pm - Guests arrive, welcome them and get them a drink to relax them and get them in the groove. Most guests (friends) will arrive 45-90 minutes after the start time.
Here we capture candids of guests arriving as well detail shots of the venue, decorations, set up, food and more!

8:00pm - We capture group shots of friends and family around the space!

8:30pm - After greeting the majority of your guests and mingling with them, join in on some of the activities such as karaoke, beer pong etc. We love to capture any action shots associated to the activities.

9:00pm - Serve the bulk of the food to your guests, we capture the food, and tone down the ‘obviousness’ of capturing photos… as we don’t want to make guests feel uncomfortable while they eat

9:30pm - Speeches, toasts, singing happy birthday and cutting of the cake! These shots are essential!

9:50pm - Get some group shots with your friends/family next to the cake if you missed those photos earlier

10:00pm - Start the dance party or put on music for guests to dance and mingle, turn the venue lights off to attract guests to the dance floor, keep the fun and dazzling lights on! Dancing shots let's go!!

10:15pm - Serve desserts and birthday cake, detailed shots of the sweets (yum yum)

12:00am - Last call for drinks, end of the party (some guests are really drunk here…)

How will you ensure that the photos are captured without disrupting the flow or atmosphere of the event?

Capturing candids from a distance &… dedicated time slots for group shots/portraits ahead of time.

Can I request specific shots or poses during the event, and how will the photographer handle those requests?

You sure can! We can follow you around while we capture each one of the requests with you, or we can capture them ourselves without any assistance! We welcome and encourage them so please go right ahead and ask ask ask :)

How can I be sure that the photographer will dress appropriately and blend in with the guests at the event?

Let us know ahead of time the theme and formality of the event so we can best match the event atmosphere! You can even request us to wear specific items or outfits.

How will you handle any last-minute changes or requests?

Just let us know what the changes are via email/text so we can both have fun at the event!
